What country will be next to publicly announce their own SBR?

Now that USA s well and truly underway with a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve, the race is well and truly on for other nations to start their own. President Trump has signed an executive order kicking off the race. Bitcoin currently held in the US (as part of forfeited assets) will not be sold, and new bitcoin will be acquired by the USA in ways that will be budget neutral, meaning no impact to taxpayers.

Currently the US is sitting on ~ 200,000 bitcoin with a value ~$17.7B (see cryptonutshell newsletter dated 7 March 2025). The big question is: How many other countries will be next to announce their very own SBR, signed and sealed, and communicated?

We probably won’t have to wait long to find out. Once thing is for certain. The price of bitcoin will be positively affected by this. And we also won’t have to wait long to find out.
